Join our exhibition in the Barossa! These creatures are hidden across a variety of locations within the Barossa region, can you find them all? This August during SALA 2021!
This exhibition showcases a body of work where students from Nurioopta High School have explored the environmental change and adaptation features of living organisms. Students researched and constructed their mythical creatures in relation to their designed ecosystems.
Students explored anatomy, behaviours and physical features within the animal taxonomy of the natural world to help inspire their own artworks.
Students used newspaper, paper mache and Modroc to sculpt their initial structures. They developed their final aesthetics through the exploration of varied finishing mediums to create textures that fit with their explored environment.
